First night in (nearly) Paris

Now I’ve reached the starting point of my trip – Francis and his wife Béatrice offered me to stay here and park the car…I met Francis two years ago on my trip to Nice and those days he was cycling with an e-recumbent-trike.

The journey to Paris was ‘interesting’ as I followed the toll-free Route National N4 which was absolutely cool and easy.
Approaching Paris I had to decide whether to trust GARMIN or my intention taking the ‘Peripherique’ – so GARMIN gave me a free tour through the old town of Paris – at the rush-hour.

Completely crowded but I was laughing all the time as I was driving along the Seine, Notre Dame and all the other exiting places. Thanks to some red lights I could take some pictures.

After arriving at Francis home we discussed how to go to Fontainebleu and Beatrice, his wife came home from work.
So they went out with me for a typical French Dinner with the ‘Novel Cuisine’ wich was fantastic…have a look at their site…

Tomorrow we will start together this tour and I’m really looking forward to this trip.
