Cycling day 4: From Orléans to Cheverny

This was the first day of travelling alone…it’s strange if you get used to travel with a friend. As Francis had found out yesterday there should be a storm with heavy rain showers in the afternoon…so I’ve tried to hurry up as I had to do 80 km and visit a wonderful castel. But first of all I’ve visited the Cathedral of Orleans and got a stamp in my pilgrims pass.

Afterwards I’ve started my day with no rain and just clouds – what continued the whole day… So I’ve had a closer look to the Château Chambord which was outstanding. Especially the ceiling and the terrace were you had a marvellous view around the Castle to the big gardens were fantastic. image
